Sometimes we need a change. We need to prove to ourselves we’ve tried everything to reach our dreams. I was in the search for where and what to do and the situation in Italy wasn’t what I really wanted. Once again, when a new adventure presented itself, I took it.

My chance at becoming a Serie A Italian volleyball player came after years of volleyball around the world, sacrifices of all kind, and a lot of perseverance.

After a season in Spain it came the time for me to try something different, something new, and so I decided to go back to Argentina and put my engineering degree to work. I taught English for a few months while I started my job search around the main "tech" companies with offices in Buenos Aires. It was an exciting time for an engineer in BA!

When I was done with college I had to make the big decision of whether to start working, continue studying or give professional volleyball a shot. This time volleyball became a priority and on September 4th 2006 I left for Lleida, a city in Catalonia, Spain, to play "professional" volleyball.

After a long search, I found the United States of America to be the place where it could all happen. The first time I tried to reach out to college coaches I had to tape my games and practices and go to a specialised center to cut and paste the pieces to create my highlights video.

I was born in Buenos Aires on January 1st 1982. It was hot, very hot, as it is every single summer in the capital of Argentina. Yes! All countries below the Ecuador have inverted seasons and so in January it is the middle of the summer!
